Our ABS yeilds excellent results thanks to a manufacturing process utilising high quality materials
Our ABS filament is of excellent quality that gives good results thanks to a number of characteristics. Our filament is very durable and, unlike PLA which can be brittle, has an element of flex to it. Additionally, it has a higher melting point than PLA. This makes it a perfect choice for printing functional parts that may see hard use over their lifetime. Our filament also has very vivid colours whereas poorer quality filament can have dull or faded colours. Due to its high melting point, we recommend a nozzle temperature of 210-260℃ and a bed temperature of 80℃ or above. If your 3D printer does not have a heated bed you still may be able to print with this filament. Many people have been able to make ABS adhere to a cold print bed by priming the bed first with glue or masking tape (painters tape). This method may take a lot of experimentation before good results are achieved but it shows that a heated bed is not always a requirement when printing with ABS. ABS can also give off strong fumes when melting so it is advised to print in a well ventilated environment.
This filament is sold as a 1kg spool and comes packaged in vacuum formed plastic and a cardboard box. To avoid the filament absorbing moisture in the air before it gets to you there are some silica gel inside too.

"I'm really enjoying the filament from 3DEX. Trying their aliuminum filament and it looks exactly like metal!"
"The quality of [3DEX's] filament is immediately noticable. I shall have to buy some more."
"This filament is so easy to print with. I haven't had any adhesion issues and the finish of every print is always great."
